Professional Swine Management, LLC is currently offering internship programs to undergraduate and veterinary students. Our internship and continuing education programs will provide interns with the opportunity to learn modern farm practices by working side-by-side with production and farm managers and swine veterinarians.  In addition, we also provide a continuing education program for interested companies.

We are looking for independent people who are interested in various aspects of swine production ranging from nutrition, animal behavior, agriculture business, engineering, to manure management.

Summer Internship Program

Our summer internship program is open to all full-time college and veterinary students who have completed at least one full year of school and are studying agriculture or veterinary medicine. Interns will spend a few weeks learning in-depth the practices and procedures of each area of production on a modern sow farrow to wean facility. In addition, the interns will be able to interact with other key personnel who oversee the production of the assigned farm.

Continuing Education Programs

In addition to undergraduate internships, we also provide continuing education programs to companies who are interested in sponsoring their employees in a valuable hands-on experience program. Intern experience will be designed based upon each individual’s needs and interests.
